Dinner theatre continues
Wednesday, July 18 2007: “The True Alleged Misadventures
of Celebrated Couples Throughout the Ages” is a historic,
original and, perhaps, cynical journey of love since the
dawn of time.

This is the third Dinner Theatre presented by the Lewis
County Theatre Guild, a non-profit organization made up of
Lewis Countians who volunteer their time and talent for
the betterment of the community. If the first two sell out
productions were any indication, they are succeeding.
The “Misadventures” consist of period music and nine
short skits which take the audience from the Stone Age to
the '50s to the present, by portraying the challenges faced
by couples throughout history.

Lewis County Guild member, Anita Criss, wrote the script
and participates in the performance, as well. Candy
Dummitt sits in the director’s chair for this hilarious
production and the talented cast of characters and
vocalists.

The Guild has two more dinner theatre dates scheduled:
July 21 and August 11. The Victorian Rose Tearoom hosts
these evenings of entertainment and fine dining. The cost
is $25 per person. For reservations, call the Victorian Rose
at 606-796-2069.
