Dogwood Winter!

Wow! March came inl ike a Lion...who knew that we would have overnight temps in the 20s and three inches of snow before end of the nnight on Friday, April 6!

All the fruit trees in the orchard are toast (sigh....) They were iin full bloom fuly two weeks before Mother Nature did the delayed April Fools joke..

And I've ben freezing since Thursday...Ferrellgas sent me a notice on Feb. 13 telling me that I would have to pay $175 for the privilege of having their LP tank in my yard if I didn't buy LP from them, and I would have to pay them to pump out what I already had paid for thta's STILL IN THE TANK!!!

YOW!!!!!!!!

I couldn't afford their "deal" last winter (closing in on $2 a gallon, filling up my tank would take 2 months income BEFORE taxes)

Froze my feet, fingers, nose, ears and other extremeties this winter trying to conserve energy and still saw my electric bill be TWICE was it normally was.

Today, Monday, April 9, I see that oil prices are dropping way lower than they ever have been in recent memory but gas pump prices are going higher and higher....

This sucks LARGE!

I'm not whining (per se) but something is WRONG with this system....
